Abstract
It was found that 6-Aminochrysene significantly reduces the estrogenic activity of
triphenylethylene; this effort is most probably connected with the inducing activity
of 6-aminochrysene towards microsomal drug-metabolizing enzymes, as a similar reducing
effect was displayed by benz[a]anthracene and, to a lesser extent, by 13H-dibenzo[a,g]fluorene,
both of which are also potent enzyme inducers.
